We have a full-time position available commencing March 2025 for a Registered Physiotherapist with a strong interest in manual therapy, exercise prescription and patient education. The successful candidate must be patient focused and possess excellent communication skills. All candidates must be able to work 2 evenings per week. Interest in working with neurological patients would also be an asset but is not required.

Motion Plus Physiotherapy is a Physiotherapist owned and operated private practice serving the Guelph area for over 27 years. We strive to foster a friendly work environment with a strong emphasis on teamwork and client centered care.

We offer:

• 60 minute assessments in private assessment rooms.
• Follow up appointment lengths of 20 or 40 minutes depending on the injury.
• Clinical mentorship program for newer graduates with senior therapists.
• A team of Physiotherapists with a wide variety of interests and pursuits with respect to continuing education such as manual therapy, the McKenzie approach, functional exercise, needling, neurorehabilitation and concussion.
• Regular in-clinic education sessions and clinic collaboration meetings.
• $1500 education allowance (based on 1 FTE).
• Competitive compensation based on experience starting at $40/hr for a new graduate and increasing based on years’ experience.
• Full administrative support. Our dynamic front desk team manages appointment booking, invoicing, electronic claim submission and payment collection.
• Electronic record keeping using Practice Perfect EMR. Exercise prescription using Wibbi which is integrated with EMR software.
• Laptop provided for in-clinic use.

Guelph is a vibrant and picturesque community with a population of 150,000. We have all the conveniences of a larger city but still maintain that small town feel. Our treatment team consists of Registered Physiotherapists with both orthopedic and neurological expertise, a Registered Massage Therapist, a Registered Kinesiologist, and Administrative Support.
